Back in the 80s, I met some of the top people, Dexter Yager, Bob Holgrid, the top guys in Amway and so forth. And I investigated and talked to all of the top people and found out what they did, week after week after week and what they did when they got started. I worked on this for years.

I tried to figure out what you really need to do to make money with a home-based business. I interviewed people that were in business for four, five, six, 10 years, not making any money but they were going to all the meetings. They were listening to all the tapes. They were reading all the books. They were showing the plan. They were doing this and that. Trying to sell the product, but they weren’t making any money. And I interviewed them.

In 1996, I codified, if you will, what I believed to be the actual things you do each and every week that can generate a large company with HUGE revenue potential.

Connelly began like any other investor. Studying charts, utilizing resistance calculators, analyzing financial reports, and re-learning the basic fundamentals of trading.

"I was making more money from my dorm room than most people make at their jobs, so I just figured going to class was a waste of time. I was on to something, and I wanted to keep the momentum going."

Over the next few months Connelly spent hours in his dorm room pouring over charts, analyzing trading patterns, volume, resistance levels, and any other identifiable factors he could find to help him identify a point when a stock was about to experience a bullish trading pattern.

Connelly was convinced that that winning stocks must have similarities, and that if those similarities could be discovered, it would be the key to identifying breakout stocks before they happen.

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Jan. 19, 2010 - Global retailer ClickBank has forged a new agreement with Payoneer, a leading online payment solution provider, that will allow ClickBank to pay some clients outside the U.S. with prepaid MasterCard debit cards, ClickBank officials announced.

The new compensation method will better serve ClickBank clients located in countries such as India, Israel and China, where it is more challenging for clients to receive commission payments in their preferred local currency, said Dush Ramachandran, vice president of sales and business development for ClickBank. The Payoneer solution will also allow ClickBank to build brand awareness by customizing the prepaid debit cards with the company's logo and color schemes.

"This capability will be particularly useful to our clients who reside in countries where direct deposit or electronic fund transfers are not currently an option," Ramachandran said. "Until now, the only option for these customers was wire transfer, which is often expensive and requires conversion from U.S. dollars to the local currency."

Using the branded prepaid MasterCard debit cards, ClickBank will be able to automatically transfer payments to a client's account, making the funds available in the customer's local currency in a matter of minutes.

"The Payoneer system will not only help ClickBank strengthen client relationships, it will also decrease the time it takes for them to get paid, increasing ClickBank's overall payment throughput capacity," said Yuval Tal, CEO of Payoneer. "We believe the use of prepaid MasterCard debit cards will greatly improve ClickBank's current payment model in countries where direct deposit or electronic fund transfers are not available."

The announcement of the ClickBank-Payoneer agreement comes on the heels of several related developments in which ClickBank has sought to make business transactions easier for ClickBank affiliate marketers and vendors in the international marketplace. Cheap Drug Could Save Tens of Thousands

A cheap drug that can stop bleeding in recently injured accident patients could potentially save the lives of tens of thousands worldwide, a new study says.

Researchers studied the effects of tranexamic acid, or TXA, in more than 10,000 adult trauma patients in 40 countries who received the drug within 8 hours of being injured. They compared those patients' outcomes to more than 10,000 accident victims who got a placebo treatment. The study was published online Tuesday in the medical journal Lancet.

Doctors found that patients who got TXA had a 15 percent lower chance of dying from a hemorrhage than those who didn't get it. They also had a 10 percent lower chance of dying from any other cause, including organ failure and a head injury, versus patients who didn't receive TXA. The study was paid for by the British government.

The drug is commonly used in wealthy countries during elective surgeries to stop bleeding, but isn't prescribed for accident victims.

TXA is off-patent and manufactured generically by many companies. It costs about 3 pounds ($4.50) per gram, and a typical dose is two grams. It is usually given via an injection and would be relatively easy to introduce, even in poor countries, experts said.

''This is one of the cheapest ways ever to save a life,'' said Ian Roberts, a professor of epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and one of the study's main investigators.
Previous tests of the drug regarded its use in elective surgeries, such as heart operations, but this was the first study to test the drug on accident victims.

Doctors were worried it might increase side effects such as blood clots in the heart and lungs, strokes, or heart attacks. There was no evidence of that in the Lancet study, though the authors said it was possible they might have missed some of these incidents.

For people between 5 and 45, accidents are the second leading cause of death worldwide after AIDS, and about 600,000 injured patients bleed to death every year. Nearly 6 million people die of injuries every year, more than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.

Roberts and colleagues estimated that if TXA were readily available, between 70,000 and 100,000 lives a year could be saved. Though the drug wasn't tested in children, he said it would almost certainly work in them as well.

Etienne Krug, director of violence and injury prevention and disability at the World Health Organization, said the drug would likely have the biggest impact in developing countries such as China and India, where 90 percent of injury-related deaths occur.

''People often have a fatalistic attitude about accidents and think nothing can be done to save people,'' he said. ''But this study shows that isn't true.''

Experts said rolling out TXA could save as many lives as other measures such as making seatbelts compulsory or strengthening drunk-driving laws.

The drug also could save thousands of people in the West.
''This is not just something for developing countries,'' said Dr. Karim Brohi, who works at one of London's busiest emergency rooms at Barts and the London School of Medicine and University of London-Queen Mary. ''We could probably use tranexamic acid on a daily basis.''

Last week, Roberts and colleagues submitted an application to WHO to include TXA on its List of Essential Medicines, which is used by many developing countries as a shopping list for drugs. Once drugs are on WHO's list, other U.N. agencies such as UNICEF often buy the drug for poor countries.
''In many developing countries, emergency departments are like war zones, even when there's no war,'' Roberts said. ''If (TXA) is available, a lot of those deaths could be avoided.''

Kemiringan laut dari Nuweiba ke arah Teluk Aqaba sekitar 1/14 atau 4 derajat, sementara itu dari Teluk Nuweiba ke arah daratan Arab sekitar 1/10 atau 6 derajat. Diperkirakan jarak antara Nuweiba ke Arab sekitar 1800 meter.Lebar lintasan Laut Merah yang terbelah diperkirakan 900 meter. Dapatkah kita membayangkan berapa gaya yang diperlukan untuk dapat membelah air laut hingga memiliki lebar lintasan 900 meter dengan jarak 1800 meter pada kedalaman perairan yang rata2 mencapai ratusan meter untuk waktu yang cukup lama, mengingat pengikut Nabi Musa yang menurut sejarah berjumlah ribuan? (menurut tulisan lain diperkirakan jaraknya mencapai 7 km, dengan jumlah pengikut Nabi Musa sekitar 600.000 orang dan waktu yang ditempuh untuk menyeberang sekitar 4 jam).

Menurut sebuah perhitungan, diperkirakan diperlukan tekanan (gaya per satuan

Jakarta- Microsoft Corp mengeluarkan software tambalan terbesar dalam sejarah. Tambalan itu untuk memperbaiki masalah keamanan, termasuk untuk Windows 7 yang belum dirilis.

Dalam update bulanan yang dikirimkan ke pengguna perangkat lunaknya, Microsoft merilis 13 buletin keamanan. Tambalan itu untuk mengatasi 34 kelemahan di Windows, Internet Explorer, Silverlight, Office dan produk lainnya.

Microsoft mengatakan enam dari patch itu prioritas tinggi dan harus diaplikasikan segera. Patch yang memperbarui perangkat lunak yang bermasalah, dirancang untuk melindungi pengguna dari hacker atau perangkat lunak berbahaya yang bisa didownload dari internet.

Sejumlah agen keamanan kemudian dikerahkan ke lokasi penemuan. Arkeolog dari museum di Mardin juga diminta datang untuk memeriksa koin emas itu.

Jakarta - Malaysia belakangan ini makin meremehkan Indonesia, mulai dari pengunaan istilah Indon untuk menghina orang Indonesia, sampai konflik Ambalat, klaim seni-budaya dan isu TKI/TKW. Mengapa Malaysia bersikap meremehkan RI?
Ketidakadilan dan kemiskinan akut yang membelit rakyat Indonesia menjadi salah satu faktor yang mendorong negara-negara lain, termasuk Malaysia , bersikap melecehkan.

Kemiskinan yang tak kunjung terselesaikan secara tuntas, salah satunya terkait dengan Sistem Jaminan Sosial Nasional (SJSN) yang belum mampu diterapkan pemerintah, meskipun payung hukumnya sudah diterbitkan sejak lima tahun lalu.

Potret ketidakadilan dan kemiskinan tersebut tercermin pula dari rendahnya konsumsi pangan bergizi masyarakat Indonesia dibandingkan negara lain di ASEAN.

Berdasarkan data Organisasi Pangan dan Pertanian Dunia (FAO), konsumsi susu di Indonesia hanya 7,3 liter per kapita per tahun, daging hanya 11,9 kg per kapita per tahun, sayur 32,4 kg per kapita per tahun, telur 3,8 kg per kapita per tahun, dan ikan 21,3 kg per kapita per tahun.

Menurut sosiolog UI Imam Prasodjo dari keseluruhan performa, salah satunya masalah gizi buruk yang menjadi bahan pelecehan terhadap kehormatan dan harga diri Indonesia oleh negara lain.

Mulai dari pesawat militer yang rusak dan sering jatuh, kebakaran hutan yang terus terjadi hingga gizi buruk, semuanya membuat negara pada posisi buruk. Pada akhirnya negara tetangga pun menyepelekan RI.

Padahal dibandingkan Malaysia, Indonesia lebih kaya sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia. Namun, Indonesia kurang mempromosikan keunggulan tersebut, dan justru tertutup dengan citra negatif.

Pengamat sosial Edi Suharto PhD menyebut bahwa sikap Malaysia yang berkali-kali melecehkan kedaulatan dan martabat bangsa Indonesia, tidak lepas dari kemakmuran yang dialami rakyat negeri jiran itu.

"Malaysia yang merdeka setelah Indonesia, konsisten dengan sistem jaminan sosial untuk masyarakatnya. Dari 1960-an, hal itu sudah mereka lakukan, sehingga kuat sampai sekarang," kata Edi Suharto, dosen Sekolah Tinggi Kesejahteraan Sosial (STKS) Bandung.

Salah satu bukti kuatnya jaminan sosial di Malaysia ditunjukkan saat krisis keuangan regional melanda pada 1997. Tidak seperti Indonesia, Malaysia berani menolak bantuan IMF (Dana Moneter Internasional) . ''Rahasianya ada pada dana cadangan jaminan sosial yang besar," tutur Edi.

Menurut dia, sistem jaminan sosial seperti Jaminan Kesehatan Masyarakat (Jamkesmas) yang berlaku di Indonesia saat ini harus diubah. Karena, program itu seperti orang menabung uangnya di bawah bantal.

Misalnya alokasi tahun ini Rp 6 miliar. Dana itu baru akan keluar kalau sudah ada klaim. Kalau ditaruh di bank, itu bisa terakumulasi sehingga ada selisih dari yang klaim dan yang tidak. ''Itu yang dilakukan Malaysia, sehingga dananya banyak," paparnya.

Kondisi Indonesia yang belum makmur, menurutnya dimanfaatkan Malaysia untuk bertindak sewenang-wenang. "Kita dihina oleh mereka (Malaysia ). Mulai dari Ambalat, klaim budaya, TKI, dan masih banyak lagi. Habis sudah harga diri kita kalau tidak makmur," tandasnya.

Imam Prasodjo mengkritik pemerintah yang dianggap tidak serius mencegah dan menanggulangi kelaparan dan gizi buruk. "Kita sebenarnya punya banyak potensi. Ada Institut Pertanian Bogor, ada Departemen Pertanian, ada Departemen Kesehatan dan sejumlah instansi atau lembaga lainnya. Tetapi, semua tersekat-sekat tanpa koordinasi yang baik," jelasnya.

Kemiskinan dan gizi buruk yang terjadi, tidak akan mengerdilkan Indonesia di mata dunia kalau tidak dibawa ke ranah politik. Tapi yang diperlukan hanyalah klarifikasi dan pertanggungjawaban pemerintah. Isu ini tidak akan berkembang dan tidak pula bias kalau dua hal tersebut sudah dilakukan pemerintah.

Woon-Jae, lahir 26 April, 1973 di Cheongju, bertinggi badan 182cm dan berat 82 kg, Woon-Jae menjadi palang pintu terakhir tim nasional Korea Selatan. Woon Jae pernah memukau publik Indonesia di Piala Asia 2007.
Saat ini, Woon-Jae memperkuat tim Suwon Samsung Bluewings di ajang Liga Korea, tidak hanya itu saja, Woon-Jae juga memperkuat Korea Selatan di Piala Dunia 1994, 2002 dan 2006.

Perkenalannya dengan Islam, terjadi di tahun 2004, sebelumnya, Woon-Jae memeluk agama Kristen, namun seiring perkembangan Islam di Korea Selatan, Woon-Jae memutuskan untuk pindah Islam, dan taat menjalankan sholat dan puasa.

Misi ke Bulan Gagal, India ke Mars 2013

Jakarta - India akan mengirim misi ke Mars antara 2013-2015. Akhir pekan lalu India mengakhiri misi pertamanya ke bulan, setelah ilmuwannya kehilangan kontak dengan kendaraan antariksa tak berawak yang sedang mengorbit bulan.
"Kami telah mengeluarkan seruan kepada masyarakat untuk memberikan usulan sains berbeda. Bergantung pada jenis eksperimen yang mereka usulkan, kami akan dapat merencanakan misi itu," kata Ketua Organisasi Riset Antariksa India (ISRO) G Madhavan Nair.

Misi itu masih dalam tahap konsep dan akan diambil setelah peluncuran Chandrayaan-2, ujar Nair.
India dilaporkan mengakhiri misi pertamanya ke bulan Ahad, satu hari setelah para ilmuwan kehilangan kontak dengan kendaraan antariksa tak berawak yang sedang mengorbit bulan.

"Upaya kami untuk mengadakan kontak telah gagal. Misi ini telah berakhir," kata juru bicara ISROS. Satish. "Tidak ada gunanya meneruskan misi ini."

Komunikasi dengan pesawat antariksa Chandrayaan-1 terputus pada Sabtu dini hari. Penyebab ketidakfungsian itu sedang diselidiki.

Misi itu diluncurkan di tengah eforia nasional Oktober lalu untuk menempatkan India dalam pertarungan antariksa Asia bersama dengan saingannya China dan memperkuat klaimnya untuk dianggap sebagai satu kekuatan global.

Sebuah kendaraan mendarat di bulan satu bulan kemudian dan mengirim balik citra permukaan bulan.

Namun sebuah sensor penting pesawat itu, yang sedang mengorbit bulan, tidak berfungsi Juli, yang menimbulkan kekhawatiran bahwa misi dua tahun itu mungkin harus dibatasi.

Salah satu tugas penting misi itu adalah untuk mencari Helium 3, isotop yang sangat jarang ada di bumi tapi dapat menjadi sumber energi pada masa depan dalam fusi nuklir.

Satish mengatakan persiapan-persiapan telah dimulai bagi Chandrayaan-2, juga misi tak berawak ke bulan, yang India harapkan akan diluncurkan pada 2012.

Satelit Indonesia Nyasar

Beijing - Satelit komunikasi Indonesia yang diluncurkan dari China gagal memasuki orbit tetap, lapor media pemerintah China yang menyebut peristiwa itu sebagai kemunduran lain dari upaya negara itu memasarkan kemampuannya meluncurkan roket antariksa.
Satelit Palapa D yang dimiliki perusahaan komunikasi satelit Indosat itu diluncurkan dengan roket Long March 3B buatan China dari situs peluncuran roket Xichang di provinsi Sichuan, wilayah barat daya China.

"Roket pertama dan kedua secara normal berhasil masuk luar angkasa, namun roket ketiga gagal selama pembakarannya," lapor kantor berita China Xinhua.

Bulan Maret lalu, China menjanjikan akan mengganti semua biaya Satelit Komunikasi Nigeria seharga US$ 340 juta NIGCOMSAT-1 setelah satelit itu gagal melanjutkan misinya setelah 18 bulan berada di orbit. Satelit ini juga diluncurkan dari Xichang, pada 2007.

China dengan cepat memperluas kemampuan antariksanya dan berencana mendaratkan sebuah wahana di bulan pada 2012. Kemampuan China dalam meluncurkan satelit komunikasi asing bisa menyokong pengembangan kehadiran antariksanya sendiri.

Negeri ini berencana meluncurkan dua atau tiga laboratium udara antara 2010 dan 2015, sebelum ditumpangkan pada satu stasiun antariksa pada 2020, demikian Harian China, Selasa, mengutip Gu Yidong, mantan kepala program antariksas berawak China.

China sedang membangun sebuah pusat peluncuran baru di pulau selatam Hainan, yang posisinya lebih baik ketimbang Xichang ataupum pusat peluncuran China lainnya di provinsi Gansu.

Perusahaan Prancis ThalesAlenia Space, yang membuat satelit Palapa D, mengatakan bahwa satelit itu telah ditarik, sementara para pakar tengah menyelidiki kesalahannya, lapor Xinhua.

PT Indosat Tbk (Indosat) menyatakan peluncuran satelit Palapa-D di Xichang China berhasil dengan sukses.
”Kami bersyukur kepada Tuhan YME atas berhasilnya peluncuran satelit Palapa-D dalam kondisi cuaca yang sangat mendukung sehingga proses peluncuran berjalan dengan lancar,” kata Harry Sasongko, President Director & CEO Indosat di Xichang, China.

Satelit Korsel Nyasar ke Mana?

Jakarta - Satelit Korea Selatan (Korsel) setelah berhasil memisahkan diri dari roket pengantarnya gagal memasuki orbit sasaran. Korsel tidak mengatakan apakah kontak masih dapat dilakukan dengan satelit itu dan juga apakah satelit tersebut telah "hilang".
"Kami tak dapat menemukan satelit tersebut di orbitnya, tempat satelit itu mestinya berada," kata Menteri Ilmu Pengetahuan Ahn Byung-man dalam suatu taklimat. Ia menyebut hal itu "gagal sebagian".

Namun, pemerintah menyatakan Seoul belum mengidentifikasi penyebab pasti peristiwa itu. Seoul masih mengamati satelit tersebut yang menyala sebagaimana rencana, tapi 26 kilometer lebih tinggi dari posisi sasarannya.

"Kami sekarang melakukan analisis guna memeriksa seberapa jauh satelit itu menyimpang dari orbit sasarannya," kata Lee Joo-jin, pemimpin pusat ilmu pengetahuan yang bertanggung jawab atas peluncuran tersebut.
Ditambahkannya, satelit itu tak memiliki peluncur sendiri, yang berarti satelit tersebut tak dapat ditempat
kan di orbit lagi.

Namun, Lee tak bersedia mengatakan apakah kontak dapat dilakukan dengan satelit itu, dan juga tak mengatakan bahwa satelit tersebut telah "hilang".

Kendaraan-1 Peluncuran Antariksa Korea (KSLV-1), yang membawa satelit itu, diluncurkan pukul 17:00 WIB dan belakangan berhasil melakukan pemisahan tahap-1 dan tahap-2.

Meskipun pemisahan tahap-dua mengandung risiko, media setempat melaporkan bahwa Korea Selatan telah berhasil dalam peluncuran roket antariksa tahap pertama. Namun satu jam kemudian saat satelit tersebut tak ditemukan di orbit yang direncanakan.

Peluncuran roket tersebut mulanya dijadwalkan diselenggarakan pada 30 Juli, tapi harus ditunda dua kali sampai 19 Agustus akibat masalah teknis.

Namun jadwal peluncuran 19 Agustus kembali ditunda tujuh menit dan 56 detik sebelum mesinnya dihidupkan akibat gangguan di tangki tekanan tinggi, yang dapat mempengaruhi semua katup pada roket tahap pertama.

UFO Selama 2 Menit Muncul di Korea

jakarta – Obyek misterius terlihat melintas di langit Korea selama 2 menit. UFO Research Center Korea menyebutkan benda misterius itu bukan dari pantulan stasiun luar angkasa internasional.

Obyek yang melintas selama 2 menit itu direkam oleh Hur Jun. Munculnya UFO di wilayah Cheonggyesan itu merupakan kedua kali setelah Maret 2005.

Hur mengatakan obyek terbang itu melintas jam 11 pagi. Meskipun berawan, benda itu terlihat bergerak dalam arah lurus dengan mengeluarkan sinar putih yang terlihat terang.

UFO Research Center Korea yang menganalisa video itu belum bisa menjelaskan mengenai obyek itu. Tapi tidak mirip dengan yang dihasilkan oleh pesawat ringan, ilusi optis atau pantulan satelit.
